SECUNIA, a Danish Internet security company, has announced a new report which seeks to monitor the vulnerabilities of different software products and operating systems. According to the results the famous Firefox browser was the most unsafe during 2008 because the Mozilla browser was located in the first place, with 115 errors. The findings of the study were:

1 - Firefox faults 115

2 - 30 faults in Opera

3 - Internet Explorer (versions 5 to 7) 31 faults

4 - Safari 32 failures

Well I have nothing more to say but I will also have Firefox because at least they corrected the errors, and not the other published you hide under the carpet as if it something ... anything beyond what he said Adamski Lucas, head of Mozilla security code.

Both Microsoft and Mozilla have released security solutions for your Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, respectively. Here I breakdown for both browsers. The patch for Internet Explorer from Microsoft IE patch with the code and KB960714 Security Bulletin MS08-078 is a critical update forall users of Internet Explorer. Fixes the defect as advertised on the Internet where an attacker could gain access to passwords and personal information of the victim. The patch is recommended to install browsers IE5, IE6, IE7 and IE8 Beta 2.

Security Update for Firefox

The Mozilla security updates come in the form of new versions of Firefox: Firefox 3.0.5 for users of 3x, and Firefox 2.0.0.19 to Firefox 2x users. The 3.0.5 update fixes a handful of security issues and some repairs in your browser stability 2.0.4. It also adds support for another language and improve the installation process. The 2.0.0.19 update is only concerned with security issues, the 2x is a version in which the developers do not support therefore advise their users switch to 3.0.5.

I hope this information can be useful for the regulars Internet users and Security Issues freaks like me .
